Etsy Store Under Construction

Hi there, folks!  It has been too long since I posted on anything here.  A lot has happened, as you would expect, having been gone for 2 years from this blog.  My family has moved to Kirskville, MO which I LOVE.  We moved from Columbia which is 1.5 hours south from Kirskville.  The population here is about 17,500.  Very different from a city we lived in of about 180,000.  I grew up in a town about the size of Kirksville when I was young.  It's probably around 25,000 population now.  That was in Starkville, MS.  I love the simple life here in Kirksville, the slower pace.  I can appreciate it more now that I am older in this stage of my life and having a teenage daughter.  It has been a good move for her too.

The biggest news for me lately is my creation of an Etsy store called Women Worth Creating.  It is under construction and will hopefully be up and running in a few months.  My main focus will be selling handbags which I love to make.  Each bag will be named after a woman from the Bible, such as Sarah and Rachel.  Therefore, each bag will be named in the manner of 'Lady Sarah', 'Lady Rachel', etc.  It is a way of honoring these women of the Bible whose lives can inspire and encourage us.  And their trials and tribulations we can learn from.

So, come visit my Etsy store sometime in the future and maybe you will find a little something you like for yourself.
